Spicy Ahi Poke
Cuisine: Local Style
  • 1 pound fresh or frozen ahi, cubed
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Hawaiian salt (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon tobasco or (wasabi oil is traditionally used) to taste
  • 2 stalks green onion, chopped
  • 3-4 tablespoons masago (fish eggs)
  1. Cut ahi into cubes.
  2. Add sesame oil and mix to coat fish.
  3. Add mayonnaise and salt, mix well.
  4. Next, add about a teaspoon of tabasco to taste and mix.
  5. Put in chopped green onions and masago and mix well.


Make a spicy ahi sushi roll. Enjoy!

  • 1 package Nori
  • Sticky rice
  • Sushi vinegar
  • Spicy tuna as is or minced
  1. Use a sushi mold or place a piece of plastic wrap on counter.
  2. Lay one sheet of nori on top.
  3. Spread your rice of nori, and add sushi vinegar.
  4. Add your spicy tuna and roll.
