Korean Bean Sprout Salad

Ingredients
  • 1 pound fresh bean sprouts
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1½ tablespoons green onions, finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil or salad oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • ⅛ teaspoon garlic, finely chopped
  • Pinch of cayenne
Instructions
  1. Clean and rinse bean sprouts in cold water.
  2. Cook for 2 minutes in salted boiling water.
  3. Drain thoroughly. Add all ingredients for seasoning and mix well.
