Ahi Tuna Poke Korean

  • 1 pound ahi, cut into bite size pieces or cubed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ⅓ small onion, sliced
  • ½ teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • ¼ cup soy sauce (Aloha shoyu)
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • ¼ cup green onions, chopped
  • ¼ cup limu, optional
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 2 teaspoons chili pepper flakes
  • ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper, or a pinch
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  1. Cut ahi into cubes or bite size pieces; set aside. In a medium size bowl, mix garlic, onion, shoyu and sesame oil, adjust ingredients to taste. Add fish, green onions and sesame seeds to soy mixture and coat pieces.
  2. Mix together chili pepper flakes, cayenne pepper and paprika. Sprinkle over fish add more or less, to taste.
